XMAS TREE TART WITH RED PESTO

RED PESTO FIR TREE PIE 🎄

The ingredients:

  • 2 puff pastries
  • 4 tbsp red pesto
  • A few pinches of FURIFURI TOMATO
  • An egg yolk for the glaze

Preparation steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 210°
  2. Unwrap a sheet of puff pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Spread the pesto over the entire surface of the dough and then sprinkle with our FURIFURI TOMATO
  4. Cover with the second puff pastry.
  5. Using a sharp knife, first cut off the base of the tree, then the bottom branch.
  6. Starting from the sides, work your way up to form a triangle.
  7. Remove the excess dough (but don't throw it away) and use cookie cutters for a zero-waste aperitif!
  8. Then make notches on each side of the "trunk". Twist each branch one after the other and add a star at the top.
  9. Brush with egg yolk and add a few more pinches of FURIFURI TOMATO .
  10. Bake for 20 minutes, checking regularly. And there you have it!
