
XMAS TREE TART WITH RED PESTO
RED PESTO FIR TREE PIE 🎄
The ingredients:
- 2 puff pastries
- 4 tbsp red pesto
- A few pinches of FURIFURI TOMATO
- An egg yolk for the glaze
Preparation steps:
- Preheat the oven to 210°
- Unwrap a sheet of puff pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the pesto over the entire surface of the dough and then sprinkle with our FURIFURI TOMATO
- Cover with the second puff pastry.
- Using a sharp knife, first cut off the base of the tree, then the bottom branch.
- Starting from the sides, work your way up to form a triangle.
- Remove the excess dough (but don't throw it away) and use cookie cutters for a zero-waste aperitif!
- Then make notches on each side of the "trunk". Twist each branch one after the other and add a star at the top.
- Brush with egg yolk and add a few more pinches of FURIFURI TOMATO .
- Bake for 20 minutes, checking regularly. And there you have it!
