VEGETARIAN MAKIS

The ingredients:

  • 225g of sushi rice
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 250 ml of water
  • ½ cucumber
  • 150 g of carrot
  • 2 lawyers
  • 3 sheets of nori seaweed
  • A little wasabi
  • GINGER FURIFURI
  • ORIGINAL FURIFURI

Preparation steps:

  1. If you have a rice cooker, skip steps 1 to 4. Without a rice cooker: Clean the rice in cold water, drain, and let stand for 20 minutes.
  2. Pour the rice and water into a saucepan and cover. Begin cooking over medium heat.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat and stir the rice with a spatula. Then continue cooking over low heat, covered, for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan and let stand again for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix: sugar, rice vinegar and a tablespoon of FURIFURI GINGER.
  6. Pour the rice into a salad bowl and separate the grains well. Then pour in the previous mixture and mix well.
  7. Peel the cucumber and carrots. Cut the vegetables into thin strips.
  8. Cut the nori sheet in half and lay it flat on the bamboo mat. Then, wet your fingers to scoop up the rice and spread it over the nori sheet.
  9. Place a dab of wasabi and spread it well.
  10. Line up your vegetable slices and roll up the makis. Finally, cut your makis into 5 or 6 and sprinkle with different flavors of FURIFURI for a change!
