VEGETARIAN MAKIS
The ingredients:
- 225g of sushi rice
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
- 250 ml of water
- ½ cucumber
- 150 g of carrot
- 2 lawyers
- 3 sheets of nori seaweed
- A little wasabi
- GINGER FURIFURI
- ORIGINAL FURIFURI
Preparation steps:
- If you have a rice cooker, skip steps 1 to 4. Without a rice cooker: Clean the rice in cold water, drain, and let stand for 20 minutes.
- Pour the rice and water into a saucepan and cover. Begin cooking over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and stir the rice with a spatula. Then continue cooking over low heat, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pan and let stand again for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix: sugar, rice vinegar and a tablespoon of FURIFURI GINGER.
- Pour the rice into a salad bowl and separate the grains well. Then pour in the previous mixture and mix well.
- Peel the cucumber and carrots. Cut the vegetables into thin strips.
- Cut the nori sheet in half and lay it flat on the bamboo mat. Then, wet your fingers to scoop up the rice and spread it over the nori sheet.
- Place a dab of wasabi and spread it well.
- Line up your vegetable slices and roll up the makis. Finally, cut your makis into 5 or 6 and sprinkle with different flavors of FURIFURI for a change!
