Nothing like vegetable purees to do yourself good
in the heart of winter❄️
But often, we have a punishing, not very sexy image of vegetables boiled in water and simply blended. Yet, it is so easy to "glamorize" them.
Preparation steps:
Start by cooking your vegetables in a pot of boiling water or in a steamer. Then, hey presto, a quick blast with an immersion blender. Or even a little elbow grease with a potato masher.
Do not salt the cooking water or the puree once mixed because that is precisely what our furikakes are there for…. They are a wonderful alternative to salt since they allow you to reduce the use of salt in your diet by 90% .

Recipe ideas:
Here are some tried and tested recipes:
- Carrots and potatoes roughly blended to keep a little chewiness + 1 good tablespoon of ricotta + FURIFURI ORIGINAL
- Split pea puree blended very smooth + 1 or 2 tablespoons of mascarpone + FURIFURI CURRY
- Zucchini and potato puree + 2 or 3 spoons of cream cheese (to give a little consistency to the blended zucchini) + FURIFURI TOMATO
- And for a mega-light version, broccoli puree + 1 spoonful of light crème fraîche + FURIFURI CHILI PEPPER
